Swim Instructor Job Description:
Teach swim lessons to students for 3-5 hours per shift
Create a SAFE, nurturing environment for students
Build confidence for students in the water, using the 5 Cities Swim School Curriculum
Communicate with students, families and staff members
Welcome feedback and enjoy the process of improving
Report to the Managers during shifts and provide support throughout the pool deck as needed
Swim Instructor Qualifications / Experience:
Ability to stand, walk, stoop, crouch or swim for up to 5 hours in the water
Ability to lift, hold, and/or move equipment or small child up to 50 pounds
Can commit to a minimum of 1 year and at least 2 shifts per week
Some afternoon and weekend shifts required

Compensation & Benefits:
$21+ per hour, depending on experience
Monday through Saturday shift availability
Depending on hours worked: Medical, Dental, and PTO

Lifeguard Job Description:
Maintains constant surveillance of patrons in the facility; acts immediately and appropriately to secure safety of patrons in the event of an accident or emergency.
Communicate the rules of the facility to patrons fairly and consistently.
Provides emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services.
Ensures that medical services (EMS or other) are contacted by most appropriate means when necessary to respond to an emergency.
Presents professional appearance and attitude at all times and maintains a high standard of customer service.
Completes accident/incident reports as necessary.
Maintains a clean and safe facility as directed/assigned.
Assists with closing and securing the facility.
Lifeguard Qualifications / Experience:
1 year Lifeguarding experience (preferred)
Must have AED/CPR/First Aid/Lifeguard certifications
Experience working with children (preferred)
Relate well to children, parents, team members, and have great communication skills
