Here, we define Water Safety as - with clothing and shoes on - being able to fall in the pool, roll & float on your back to catch your breath, locate the side of the pool, safely swim to the edge, and climb out by yourself. This is what we work towards in our Parent & Me Goldfish classes.

All of the skills learned in our Parent & Me Goldfish classes are fundamental to becoming water safe, well prepared for our Water Safety classes, and building a positive & respectful relationship with water.

Parent & Me for babies 3 months through 35 months old

• Bring your suit! The parent/guardian is in the water with your baby

• We sing songs, treat class as your child’s first small-class experience, and learn fundamentals of Water Safety

• We work on safe water entry, back floats, water balance, blowing bubbles, breath holds, and kicking … while having fun!

• 6:1 max student to teacher ratio
